Classic Chart Show Showing On The Vault 356

Hi everyone just joined rabroad unfortunately I have Virgin and can't watch Chart Show TV but I saw it once at somene else's house and wasn't impressed just a copycat of the former EMAP channels. Can't believe they are repeating the same ones over and over again ridiculous.

Twix had a contract to sponsor the Chart Show back then so if they were to show their logos now they wouldn't get the sponsorship royalties. That's what I'd presume anyway.

"simple1991" The moral of the story is, if you can't be bothered to look for the answers to your questions, you really shouldn't expect others to do it for you.

I'm starting to give up on it to be honest, Frank. It's too repetitive and cheap.. and repetitive. Okay, they may not have the budget they did back in the day, but isn't that the point of a sponsor?

November 15th today- definatly getting them in order- we'll be into 1998 by the end of the week!

Still wondering why the 1st November edition went walkies though...

it's a shame the viewing figures are not that good. Unfortunately, sticking to the years that are being shown is going to limit the audience size too. To appeal to a bigger audience they need to have a wider selection of years, but obviously technical limitations and cost are not going to help.

I hope it does work out though and viewing figures increase to a worthwhile level. I only found out about the shows about a month ago, there could be many others out there who would be interested but don't visit internet message boards and don't know that the reruns are being shown.

Are sure it wouldn't be against the rules? Do you know the details of how it all works? What makes you so sure there'd be no problems with them showing them? I'm just wondering what it is you know that I don't.

I think it's quite interesting, as I have the last episode on video, and this episode dates before they had a reshuffle with the graphics (which, after seeing this, was clearly a big improvement), and changed the opening music, which I seem to remember happenned around mid-1997. My personal favourite graphics set though is the 1989-91 fairground ones.
