I was reading about IP address and subnet masks.
I noticed that sometimes you might have class A IP address, but the subnet mask is a class C
For example
IP address is
10.5.9.8 (Class A)
The subnet mask is:
255.255.255.0 (Class C subnet mask)
Why and How does that happen?
Thank you
