Cineworld Unlimited Card

They used to be good when they were 18 rated and had a bit of thought in them, they started to dwindle a bit at 15 rated, but were still okay, now they've ground them down to 12A's they are just treading water, really bland nothingness. :(

I know you do tend to watch some bad films as over the years ive watched some terrible films such as Catwoman etc but then again ive gone to see a lot of good films that I wouldnt have bothered with if I didnt have the card!
I think if you go to the cinema at least twice a month then its well worth getting a card!

At the Cineworld I'm at we only tend to crack down on people trying to bring McDonalRAB or Pizzas in since they do stink out the entire screen which isn't particularly fair on other people other than that it's a pretty relaxed policy - that said I do enjoy some people's rubbish attempts to hide food, I remember one guy who'd stuck about 6 big bags of butterkist popcorn for him and his family down his jumper which firstly made him look pregnant and then promptly fell out in front of me as he gave me his ticket!

I've been keeping tabs on the films I've seen as this is the first year with the card, my worst month so far was May because I only saw 3 films, (still would have cost just under

Yeah I have done quite a few alldayers in the cinema over the years but I have not done one for a while but I usually see 2 or 3 films during a day. Also me and my frienRAB tend to go and see big blockbusters such as The Dark Knight or Indiana Jones on the opening day as we usually meet for fry up then go to the first screening before heading to the pub for a few pints to talk about the film. These make going to see a big film much more of an event!

I have to say I disagree about value for money. Perhaps my nearest Cineworld is a special case being near the centre of London, but still available at the

i have one, and so does my boyfriend, we usually get our money's worth during the month, but i think we'll start using it more in the winter, as it gets a bit colder.

It must be just me, but I don't mind the prices of the cinema but I do only buy popcorn and drinks so maybe the sweets and that cost more, But I find a large popcorn and Drink will last me a long time and it isn't that dear really - maybe im just rich hahaha

It also depenRAB on how many screens your nearest Cineworld has. Mine has only 6 so in the summer there are not as many films to choose from as the big blockbusters are on two screens. Also films run for less time on smaller cineworlRAB. I missed The Incredible Hulk as it only ran for two weeks then was just on a Saturday lunchtime then went altogether.

having said that I have has an Unlimited Card since launch in 2000 . I have had mine for 8 years this month. It is worth it even if you only go 2 3 times in a month. But try to go to peak time screenings when it is full price as you get better value!

The Cineworld website publishes next week's times on Tuesday mornings. That gives you three days to catch that film you wanted to see, if it finishes this week.

That is comedy, it is interesting seeing some people hiding all their food whereas others just walk in with bags full of food, I just think your only in there for about 2 hours not a week :D

Also interesting to see two girls spend

I agree, I love having the Unlimited card. We try and go at least once a week, maybe twice if there's good films on. Haven't done an all dayer yet tho, would like to lol. There's been lots of films that I've seen and enjoyed that I probably wouldnt have bothered to see if I didnt have it but have also seen some stinkers that I'm glad I didnt shell out money for.

The only bad thing that's come out of the unlimited card (although good from my point of view) is that OH gets annoyed with the extra amount of DVRAB I've bought and he has to make more room for them lol

Its really quite simple to have an Unlimited card and not get ripped off with the cost of popcorn and sweets. Dont buy any!!! Why cant people go for two hours without eating. I have an Unlimited card and go about four times a month at least and i rarely buy anything. I get my ticket and go in and watch the film! I never even think of going to buy food and drink. I just go without. Then you do get full value out of the card. Try it, it really is possible!

When my local cineworld opened, I went in on it's opening day to check it out and when I read about the unlimited card I was in heaven, signed up for in there and then and went straight away to see Ginger Snaps, one of the things that happens when you have an unlimited card is you go and see movies you wouldn't have spent

Im keeping tabs too. Exactly the same as you, best month was Feb with 9 and 3 for me in May too. Think im going to beat 9 this month though, at 5 already with at least another 5 that i want to see before the end of the month.

I know someone who has seen 95 different films this year!
A bit extreme i think. He literally sees everything that comes out and is shown at the cinema nearest to us.
