Do you imediatly start finding faults, poking holes in other peoples religion, culture, ect.? or do u try and learn from them what u can? if u do open ur mind, do u look down on other religions (feel sorry for them, because they dont have ur views)?
hahaha the "live and let live" chick caled me judgemental! ironic? if u read this question, the only bias is that i use "open ur mind" to describe learning about other cultures, a fair statemetn i would say, not overtly biased. but i dont believe i said, "if u dont, then ur dumb" or anything like that. good work thou
how exactly does having world views make u close minded? i think ur confusing close mindedness with having opinions. as a historian, i am trained to remove myself from my subject, its dificult to do yes, but it can be done. u can learn about the world without bringing ur biases into the equation. u just have to be conscious of ur biases.
hey buddy dont preach to me about religion, and me not seeking him. i was raised catholic, spent my entire life "seeking him". problem is, never found him, and that doesnt mean ive closed my mind to him. im agnostic. when i see a miracle, lets say megan fox appears on my face or something, then i will believe. until then, i use the logical brain i was given.

Yes, I do and after I see the world's cultures- I think there are only a few countries I would care to live in. And they tend to be the Western World- and ask yourself why?

I can't stand all this "tolerate everything" mentality. Sorry, but I do think our Western culture and morals and ideals are THE BEST.

It seems that most people think so too- you don't see people lining up to immigrate to South America, Asia, Africa, etc..............do you?

We don't have to accept everything, thanks.

Christians "open their minds" only to things that coincide with their current beliefs. Otherwise it's the work of SATAN.
