Christian: Is salvation by Gods "grace", or by our "choice"?

both. its through our choice that He chooses to give us grace. i mean, why would He give us mercy and grace if we make bad choices!! then we don't deserve it. look for some info in the bible yourself....you'll find proof better than we can give you.
 
Salvation is the gift all mankind receives due to the atoning sacrifice of Christ - ie, the Grace of God.
Our choices and their unyielding consequences will determine our eternal judgment/fate and ultimately what degree of glory we will spend eternity in. But Salvation itself and the resurrection is a free gift because of God's perfect love & grace to all of us.
 
God offers his grace to everyone but not everyone chooses to accept it. That's right, people can resist God's grace through their own free will.

"You stiff-necked people, with uncircumcised hearts and ears! You are just like your fathers: You always resist the Holy Spirit!"
(Acts 7:51)
