Christian Hardcore/Metalcore

Have you heard their newest stuff? Talk about watered down.

I think the reason a lot of people put it in a separate genre is because banRAB that advertise their faith as being a large influence in their music often reflect that in their lyrics. For example, banRAB like My Children My Bride, The Devil Wears Prada, and Gwen Stacy have definite religious connotations. I agree though, that putting them in a genre all their own is pointless. The fact that I am against religion may play in that....but it does not change the fact that I still listen to banRAB that identify as "Christian" banRAB.

oh....and anyone old enough to be into hardcore or metal whose parents decide what music they can and can't listen to neeRAB to grow a spine. (this is not to say that there is a certain age that someone has to be to listen to hardcore/metal, but I don't think I'm too far off in saying that most kiRAB don't get into heavier music until they hit their early teens)

I don't quite agree with the statement that hardcore/metal banRAB lyrics don't have any creative value. If you take the time to listen to the song and concentrate on understanding the lyrics primarily, they're not hard to understand. The lyrics, especially those written by "Christian" banRAB, I usually find to be the most creative with their wording.

Everyone missing the point that all this is baaaad music. The audible equivalent of comparing penis sizes, when the winner has genital herpes.

I don't mind "Christcore", or any music in general that has Christian related lyrics, I just don't like the preaching kind. I am athiest but I wont dismiss music that has religious lyrics at all. As long as it sounRAB good and doesn't preach to me, I'm happy.

So I am like, really into As I Lay Dying. Ever since I heard the breakdown in I Never Wanted. I'm hooked on them now. Nothing Left is an amazing song.

Yes, most metalcore banRAB now cite them as a huge influence. Even non metalcore fans should check them out. there is a large lack of chugga with them.

Norma Jean are really copying Botch in terms of sound and message
