Choosing two cultures to do an ethnology writing assignment for Anthropology.?

I'm having a horrible time trying to decide two cultures for this assignment. I was hoping to focus on a branch of paganism and another culture to compare the marital ceremonies and rituals that take place... but I'm not sure.

Anyone have any suggestions on where I should go on this?
 
Compare Hinduism with Islam - ie Indian with Pakistani cultures. Both in the same part of the world and have much in common but are divided by belief.

Lots on line about both so you should have plenty of material (more than enough, I would say).

The key difference is a ploytheistic (many Gods) culture versus a monotheistic (one God - Allah) culture. And the latter's adherence to the Holy Koran.
 
you could do hinduism and christianity
do about the different parties and ceremonies and also about the caste system compared to the kind of simple church weddings
sorry if i've got this completely wrong, i don't know what anthropology means
