We're buying a new car. I realize that's an insane thing to do in this economy and yet, we are.
My significant other wants a "family" car. We only have one child, yet his current vehicle is a pickup that's quite cramped with three people in it, so we chose the Chrysler 300, the Ford Taurus, Impala and Malibu.
He ruled out the Taurus because he didn't like the chrome grill and I personally found the appearance to be too bland.
He ruled out the Chrysler 300 because it was too flashy and had too many "gizmos."
Now, we've seen both the Malibu and the Impala. We both like both equally.
What I'd like you to do is list anything you know about both of these cars that can possibly influence my opinion. This includes pros, cons, gas mileage, differences in appearance and anything else you'd think is important. If you own one, tell me what you love about it and what you hate about it. Etc.
Perhaps I should mention that he hates my Cobalt because it's of the 2-door variety and the back seat isn't easy enough to get into.
Vadim, Maybe you're not an American, but I am.
For the record, Buick won most reliable and that's made by the same company.
