Cheap, rootable, phone for prepaid plan with GPS and camera?

Hi,
Right now I have the most basic phone ever on a T-Mobile prepaid plan in the US (not even a camera!). My son ripped up the keypad, so now that the phone is covered in tape, I think it's time to upgrade. However I wish to stick to my prepaid plan, so contracts are out.

I'd like a GSM phone around $200 that is rootable, has a decent camera, WiFi, and GPS. I wouldn't have a data plan so WiFi is a must. Main uses of phone would be calls (duh), quick pics when my son does something cute/funny/dumb, checking mail/sites when near hot spots, displaying maps, and creating tracks and waypoints (think OpenStreetMap editing).

I know I'll have to sacrifice to get near $200, but I just can't justify spending more. So far the HTC Dream, Magic, and Hero seem like good options, but I'm sure there must be some non-HTC phones out there that meet my criteria.

Thanks for any feedback!

Hi it may not be possible but in the UK the orange network have just released and Android 2.1 phone with basic camera, wifi and large (very high quality) touchscreen for ?99 it's work a try for importing and unlocking if that is what you are looking for. It also has googlemaps and stuff and I think can work as a GPS (it can locate where you are). It's worth checking for reviews to because I'm not sure about some of the stuff you are looking for.

Just checked the exchange rate and that is about $155. I've been using the phone for about a week now and I am very impressed!
