I recently went on a 2 day course called "Changing Cultures In Dementia" I have to go back in 6 weeks to do a 10 minute presentation. The presentation has to be on what I have done it the 6 weeks to improve the care of people with dementia in my workplace.
The course leader has suggested life stories, training programmes for other staff members & information packs for other staff members.
Has anyone done this course and can give me a nudge in the right direction?
I work in a senior role in a main stream day care centre, about 60% of the service user's have a form of dementia.
