Yup, I quite agree. I knew from the trailers that it wouldn't be up to much, but I wasn't expecting how lame it actually was. It's not the sort of film you can even dislike, it was too personality-free for that.
Not sure I agree with you here, I didn't notice any clever and/or snappy dialogue, I just thought it was unforgivably weak.
In fact, I was so un-engrossed, I started picking up on stupid details: "that font's from the late 80s... that song's from 1976 not 1973", etc., and I don't normally do that!

In an effort to not be completely negative, I thought Emily Watson did amazing things with the little she was given. And I think the fella who played Bruce is one to look out for, he could be really good given a decent script. Oh, and Felicity Jones, always lovely to see her, she's gorgeous.
