cd player wont play cd?

i put a new stereo in my car and it works fine a day later it wont read my cd it reads then displays E-04 if anyone knows how to fix this plz let me know
(its not a data cd its a regular cd it wont even play cds i bought from the store)
 
The "E" probably stands for error, and the "4" is probably what error it is. Check the troubleshooting in the manual for your new stereo and see if that helps.
