Cartoons you only like for nostalgia.

Some cartoons don't hold up well with adults years later, but are still fun to watch for memories.

I have quite a few.
Pokemon: I was suckered into this fad in the late 90s, it was fun watching the show, playing the Game Boy games and collecting and trading the cards, other than all those memories, the anime wasn't too good, but has a charm to me.

Space Jam: Watched this a lot as a kid, but the concept is rediculous, most of the acting is average and the Looney Tunes gang just look and act really weird instead of being funny, and the concept is rediculous, but the experience of the film takes me back to watching it for the first time in 1995.

Super Mario Bros Super Show: Had some video tapes of this show and watched it quite often as a kid, but it was pretty average to be honest.

Tiny Toon Adventure: Don't give me hate here, but I'm not really sure of what to think about this show, some episodes are brilliant fun, and others are poorly animated and scripted, it's still fun to watch.

Antz: Looked amazing back in 1998, but looks like a Playstation game today, fun to glimpse back on though.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

I can get into the original series' cheesy sense of humor sometimes, but watch too much in a row and I start to go a bit stir crazy.

The Old TMNT Series for it being very campy, and having the villain be voiced by the same guy on the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Captain Planet- I just like how they force down messages about the enviroment, and also some other social issues. Also some of villains having high profile actors/actress voicing them.

The G1 one Transfomers cartoon. I still watch it from time to time and enjoy it because it pretty much defined my early childhood but if I had been watching it for the first time now, I'd probaply decry it as horribly written, mindless trash.

Pokemon' is nostalgic for me with the cards and the Pokemon' movie.I've watched some of the old eps,but it was too goody-two shoes most of the time with morals injected in every epsiode.

I'll also agree with the "Pok?mon" sentiments. I willingly admit to the show's flaws now, but I still respect it and recognize its potential. (And besides, the video games are really good.)

Pokemon. I don't know if I actually like the pre-johto or if I am nostalgic blind to it. I also somethimes watch My Little Ponies on You Tube for old times sake.

I'm with you guys on Pokemon--I adored the show as an elementary schooler, and I still find it charming today. It's obviously just riding on nostalgic memories, but somehow I still like re-watching it. No matter what way you twist it, though, Eric Stuart was brilliant as the voice of James.

Cow and Chicken-I watch Cow and Chicken now on Cartoonnetwork Video. I use to and even now can't get into the show, but I've developed somewhat of a liking for it since I haven't seen it for a long time. It also brings back memories from the 90s when I was addicted to Cartoonnetwork LOL.

Poke'mon- I have most of the VCRs of the old Poke'mon episodes and I have to say that I do like watching it just for old times sake when I had to collect every Poke'mon card there was. I also like the battle scenes in Poke'mon because I remember watching them when I was young and getting a sudden burst of energy. I still get excited when I watch those battle scenes now but not so much that I start running around the room and and act like a crazy maniac:evil:

Most of the shows from my childhood in the '80's....

He-Man/She-Ra,Thundercats,My Little Pony,Captain Planet....All shows that I look at now,and wonder why I ever liked them....the animation on all these shows hasn't aged well, and they all had alot of really bad dialogue...

Hulk Hogans Rock n Wrestling. Horrid show that i occasionally come back to for the camp value only.
EDIT: Also, the star trek cartoon. Storyline-wise its good, but animation-wise its not one of filmations finer moments

Sonic SatAM - Was once my favorite cartoon, even got the DVD when it came out. Well...too much time has passed, and after the progress the Sega Universe has gone thru, I don't see it the same way. And the flaws that I noticed as a kid, became even more noticable watching them again lately. Still fun to watch though

All the Super Mario Cartoons - Simple enough, loved it as a kid cuz it was Mario in a cartoon. Today...Ugh, how did I like this stuff?! There still some episodes/moments that are fun to watch though.

Arthur is still running, right? Not trying to nitpick, but how can you be nostalgic for a show that's still in production? Unless you mean that the earlier episodes were better than the current ones.

And I'm also a bit surprised and confused by your inclusion of Tiny Toons, Animaniacs and Pinky & the Brain on your list. If you only like Tiny Toons, Animaniacs and Pinky & the Brain for nostalgia, then why are you always asking for an all-new show featuring the casts of those 3 shows merged into one giant production? Your desire for a new series starring these characters would seem to indicate that your fondness for these shows goes beyond mere nostalgic value. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but this post seems to contradict all of your previous ones.

Last time I checked PBS, they were showing new episodes with "10th Anniversary!" labeled on them (wow, that was over a year ago). They are now producing a 12th season. 155 episodes and still going strong...
