Cartoons that everyone hated but you loved

I was just wondering this. Have there ever been cartoons that it seemed everyone around you, be it on the internet or people you know in real life, seemed to hate but there was something about the show that you loved?

For me, it would be Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi. Don't get me wrong, the show was far from brilliant. It had a ton of problems, that's for sure. The backgrounds were lackluster, every character (save for Ami, Yumi, Kaz, and the Japan-only seen Julie) were poorly designed and half-assed, and the writing left much to be desired.

Despite all that and, I have no idea why this is, there was something about the show that I just enjoyed. Maybe it was the cute main characters or the quirky animation. I really can't explain it, but something about Hi Hi kept me entertained.

So what about you? Any shows that everyone you know seemed to hate but you, whatever the reason may be, couldn't help but enjoy? Even if you knew deep down inside that the show was pretty lame?

A few shows I liked but people seem to hate are:

MIB animated series
Static Shock
Get Backers
Goku: Midnight Eye
Spiderman animated MTV

I'm sorry, but I disliked Puffy quite a bit.

Whatever Happened to Robot Jones: Actually, I hated the show at first, but when they did the Lavender Fudge Experience “The Nudist and Mr. Pendelton” video (a great throwback to the music of the late '60s) I couldn’t get myself to hate it anymore. I also liked the constant ‘80s references, for instance the bullies wearing Devo Energy Domes.

Krypto the Super Dog: Sure it was juvenile but it was nice to see those characters reintroduced in animated form. I also liked the stylized designs.

Super Globetrotters: For Pete’s sake, Twiggy Sanders had the power of spaghetti! And Sweet Lou could pull anything out of his oversized afro! It was just so outrageously stupid I couldn’t help but watch it.

Hey, Robotron... I love MIB the series and Static Shock as well.

I am a HUUUUGE fan of Ultimate Muscle, and no one in anime circles has any respect for this. Of course, they love their Naruto and their One Piece... and those 2 Manga-kas pretty much grew up with the Kinnikuman series. But to be truthful, I like the manga much better than the anime.

My Gym Partner's a Monkey: I've always been a fan of fish out of water stories. Also, unlike a lot school oriented shows, the characters don't all have a set personality.

Minoriteam: I like it because it's the one of the few shows that satirizes racial stereotypes but doesn't preach to you.

I like Robotboy, Catdog and Robot Jones alot. I just thought that they where cute shows. Even though I didn't love them to death but Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi and Rocket Power were kind of cool.

Sheep in the Big (Freaking) City. Calling this show a ripoff of "Rocky & Bullwinkle" is about as ridiculous as calling "Family Guy" a ripoff of "The Simpsons". Also, it's funny as hell.

Atomic Betty, which I grew to love for it's art direction and the staging of its outer space segments (not the writing), but in retropsect, Bleedman incorporating Betty into his PPGD Character Chart (which came out just before Betty premiered on CN) probably had a great deal to do with my enjoyment of it.

Perfect Hair Forever. Man, that was bizarre in a good way.
I heard they actually made a seventh episode that wraps up the series... has it ever aired?

Some people around here liked 12 oz Mouse, but everyone else I know hated it to death. Same with Squidbillies.

And then there's Reign the Conqueror. I'm pretty sure I'm the only person other than Peter Chung that liked that show.

Dude, Mo Willems is one of my favorite animators, and I think he got a raw deal with that one. I would not consider it a Bullwinkle knockoff. it went off and did its own thing. It clearly had inspiration, but the 2 shows are pretty different. I also loved the random Sesame Street Muppeteer guest voice actors they had.

I loved Ozzy & Drix. Yeah, I knew the show's quality was nowhere near that of the movie's. But the whole concept behind it is so creative and there's never really been anything like it before.

I dunno if Chung even liked it (he only did the designs, nothing else to do with the content).

It seems The Animatrix gets a lot of hate. I personally thought parts of it were better than any of the LA movies. Also Looney Tunes: Back in Action was pretty clever.

Code Monkeys- I'll admit it seemed stupid with pointlessly crude humor at first glance, but after the 3rd or 4th episodes, it started to grow on me. It's no more a South Park ripoff than Futurama was a Jetsons ripoff. I especially like the characters of Dave, Jerry, Todd and Mr. Larrity.
