Motorcycle tires are NOT made with softer compounds. See here:

A car tire is made to flex in the sidewall, a motocycle tire is not. And you are right, the contact patch on a car tire is huge, compared to a MT. I just got back from a long ride, where I was going thorugh the turns leaning farther and riding faster than normal, without consciously trying to. I was grinning like a fool, too, lol.
Long sweepers are a pleasure, and a hard stop on rippled pavement doesn't cause the back tire to chatter, like my D407 did.
Having said all this, a car tire is not for everybody. No reason to get personal , its not, drifter27011.
