I have an aftermarket stereo system in my car.. i got the speakers front n back, deck, amp, sub.. etc..
its been working good for about 4 months now.. but lately ive been noticing that the sound isnt as loud as it used to be.. (no i am not going deaf) The bass doesnt pound as hard.. and i have to adjust my volume to a higher level for it to play as it normally would..
I have absolutely no idea what the hells goin on.

Could it be that my battery is dying and isnt supplying enough power to my amp and speakers and thats why its not producing the same loudness it used to? But I just very recently replaced my battery though a few months ago.

Some one please help! Ive spent so much time and money on my system and it really annoys me how i worked so hard for these things and they don't work properly as they're supposed to.
Rockford Fosgate amp p325.1, alpine type E sub 10 inch, JBL gto627 speakers, apline ida x300 deck... as you can see... my system isnt all to powerful at all, but it used to work really well and now its like comparable to a stock sound system. Even my friends have noticed that it got quieter

I think u just got used to how loud your system really is. It happens to me when i listen to it all day, the next day it'll sound quieter, but its really not.

Another reason as to why it might sound quieter is because of the temperature. It tends to be louder when its hot rather than when its cold. Also, NORMALLY it is louder to the ear when the windows are rolled down.

Your battery is fine, unless you run your system while the car is off. If you do, then you probably deep cycled your battery too many times and messed it up. Post details of your system to get a better understanding.
