i have looked around and for like $75-100 i can get 8-12in speakers and 175-200w amp in a box for a car sterio system. What i need is a PA-Venue system for small events or weddings. i have a few things coming up this year and getting my own system would be cheaper then rental. If i get a converter to power the amp correctly and use my computer to supply a line level audio feed to the amp what kind of quality would i be getting? in a small room or venue event would this be a good thing? add mids? what do you think?
