There is a huge amount of static in the right channel so i have it disconnected and only have mono-channel running through both sides. There is still a fair bit of static in the single channel but not noticeable unless listening closely. I figured the problem has been a blown amplifier so i replaced it and the problem was still there.
At this point it's either the receiver or the RCA cables, but I'm not of any way to diagnose the problem short of replacing them. How can i diagnose this and how likely is it that it's one over the other?
