Ok so I bought this CD Deck/ two speaker bundle from radio shack tonight and the wattage for the deck does not match the max power wattage for the speakers. What will happen, and will it make any difference?
It was a PKG-138A in dash reciever and 6.5 inch Dual Cone Speaker System from Kenwood.
The CD Deck is KDC-138
The Speakers are KFC-1652S
The Deck is Max power of 200 Watts, 50x4
The Speakers are Max power of 160 watts.
So there is of curse a -40 watt difference.
Also Will I over load the speakers if it puts 200 watts in the speakers, or will it down grade to 160 automatically? How would that work?
