CAR AUDIO NEED HELP 10 points to the best answer!!?

I have 2 12 inch orion cobalt sub-woofers in a Plexiglas box I bought a 500 watt Orion cobalt amp is that enough power or too much power any suggestions will be appreciated also please tell me if I need to add more stuff I want the most bass possible out of my system
 
Any subwoofer amp will drive those subs, it just won't be as loud as a more powerful amp. Once you start hitting the limit of the amplifier, it'll get hot, the sound will start sounding distorted, most likely go into thermal protection and shut down until it cools down.
