Ok. i realize this might be a stupid question. but i got a big ported box with 12 inch subs in it. i also have a 99 audi A4 with the symphony sound system (stock) so in pondering whether or not to dish out the bills for an amp i was wondering if it would be possible to install the sub and amp without ripping the dash apart, pulling up carpet etc. i had this idea that i could run my inputs to the rear deck speakers and turn the amp on via the power to the lights which turn on with ignition. so then i would just have to figure out where to get power from without ripping up the carpet. any ideas would be appreciated. but please no hating i realize this is pretty far fetched.
