Deck- CDE-102 Alpine 45W X 4 16W RMS
Speakers- 6829CF Infinity 300 W Peak 100W RMS

Everything else is stock. I have a 2004 Ford Focus 4D Sedan

Is this all gonna configure properly? the speakers aren' installed yet i should be getting them in the mail anyday. And also suggestions for an amp and sub woofers? that's what i've been mainly looking into but don't have much knowledge. ACCEPTING ALL SUGGESTIONS
Apparently i need to get a 4 channel amp.. Any specific reccomendations? or point me in the right directio?
I have 2 Pairs of the infinity speakers.. so 4 total. Also.. is a 4 channel amp neccesary? cause one that was reccomended appears to only be a 2 channel?

all those things shold work fine with a 4ch amp 200W min, esp. if you run your door speakers to the hi input jack on the amp. for your ford focus audio plugs/ adapters, you can find the easy install kits at Walmart in the automotie section. tip buy extra 15amp 30amp fuses and easy connect wire splicers if you have to cut the old wires off to connect them to the new plug in the back of the new head unit.

Hifonics amp is something that i'd be looking at. But then again there are others, but if you do happen to get some powerful subwoofers then Hifonics intend to work wonders.

I think he meant by under-powering them, you can damage them,
the truth behind this concept is surrounded by many rumors.
Damage by underpowering speakers only happens when your amp starts cliping (distorting, the distortion/clipping is what kills the speakers), in this case, the internal amp from your deck.
For example, running a 50-watt amp, at maximum, and you hear the sound is very distorted, even if you speakers can handle up to 100-watt, this will start to damage your speakers.

By all means, you can use your deck to run your speakers,
but don't run it so loud, the clipping is very audible, this is very rough on your speakers.

You can use your deck to run your speakers, in the mean time.
Since your speakers have a 2 Ohm resistance, and a 100w RMS.
I suggest getting
-MTX Audio JackHammer JH202 - goes for around $150.00.

this is a perfect match for your speakers, since the amp has the following rating:
[2 ohms: 100 watts x 2 chan.]
Once you get this amp, make sure you disable the internal amp inside the deck.

As for the sub, maybe one of the more well known brands, like
Alpine, Kicker, Focal, MTX, Pioneer....just to name a few.
Any sub from them will do you good, if your not too picky about the Sound Quality vs SPL output.

Do you only have 1 pair of those Infinity Speakers or 2 pair? [answered]

Okay, then Yes, when you pick your amp, be sure it has the following feature,
[[[[[ 100 watts x 4 @ 2Ohms RMS ]]]]]
not peak, the RMS.

New amp suggestions: (4-channel amps)
-MB Quart DSC 450 - $100
-Power Acoustik OVN4-840 - $110
-Hifonics TXi 4408 - $120
-Infinity Reference 475a -$140

audiophiles would say,
you could just get two of those amps, i suggested, since having separate amps improves the quality of the sound.
