Car Audio Experts Please Answer!!!?

Alright, so prom is tomorrow night, we're taking a golf cart, with three 12's and two 6' 9's strapped to it. I'm not sure how we're going to power all of this, I was wondering if I could just use a spare car battery? It's a 1500 watt amp, and if the car battery thing did work than how long do you think it could play on a regular/new car battery?

yes it can happen with that golf cart if it has a radio/cd player. u are goin to need one. the green, purple, white,and gray would be for the 6/9 doesn't matter which color as long as the wires with the blacks lines are together. the black wire will be connect to the neg. battery. red and yellow will be pos. of the battery.blue wire will be the remote connect this one to the amp . the amp will connect to the cd player and battery as well. to the cd player RCA wires will be needed for the amp. two power wires. one for 12 volt on the amp to the battery. ground to the neg. of the battery. last is the speaker wires neg to neg pos. to pos. pretty simple. once all this is done its goin to last for a while don't really know how much bass and music your goin to play louder u are the shorter life of the battery will be
 
At full volume with a new battery, im gonna say 30minutes to an hour. depending on the battery. May last longer.
 
Standard car bat 3 - 4 hours
if you use a dry cell you might get 6 hours
 
first of all

your dumb for putting a system on a golf cart

secondly, you can NOT just use a standard car battery, they do not put out enough power and will die in a matter of minutes

third, your going to need an optima yellow top or kinetik power cell, AT LEAST 3 of them because this is your ONLY source of power *which are $300+ each, you can not get these by tomorrow night)

fourth, the batteries will eventually die because there is nothing to help charge the batteries, so you have not even 20 minutes of playing time

fifth, you can NOT wire three 12 inch subs and two 6x9s on the same amp, this will be too much for the amp, and it will short out and blow the amp

sixth, you need a seperate amp for the three 12" subs and 6x9s

seventh, this is dumb and retarded i hope you get shot for even THINKING of this idea

New battery, about 3 to 4 hours. You better get the highest amp rated battery they have if you want it to last.
 
are you a FUCKING IDIOT?you cant do this especially in only a day.. the only way you could do it is to add an alternator to it that can put out over 400 amps, or several with several batteries with a LOT of wire, it will cost thousands just to add alternators and batteries and all the wires for this thing

well edward is right about not being able to hook up all subs and speakers onto the same amp and that a single car battery wont help for a 1500 watt amp, You will need to make pretty big upgrades for this cart which wont be worth the money in the end especially because it isnt permanant....
