Car Audio Cd Player Question?

I had an aftermarket stereo in my car as of a few weeks ago, then I took it out becuase it kept skipping etc. I replaced it with the orignal factory cd player and left everything from the old cd player still where the cd player goes. If I buy a new cd player, can I use everything there or do I need to use the harness that comes with the cd player?
 
There is no guarantee, but there is some likeliness that the previous aftermarket deck and the new one use the rather standard connectors, so the adapter kit you have can be used.
