car audio battery question?

okay, so right now i have a 300 watt amp ran to a jl 10w1, and i know it doesnt effect the battery or alternator right now... but here soon im going to be getting 2 jl 10w6's.. im thinking i will need another battery for this setup? i would be running 2 jl 500/1 amps to each, would i need a new alternator or battery? how would i setup another battery to it? (1998 monte carlo)
 
Short awnser is no. 2 of those amps is ok. Only 1000 rms is not enough to drain your charging system. If you really mean 4 amps in total then yes. If you were to put an extra battery in then run in it parallel with your existing battery. You will get more run time with the car offf but it will inturn put more strain on your alternator. Its a trade off.
