Recently my amp started shorting or clipping out.. Ive checked all the wire for shorts, but it still happens. It started with the subs sounding softer each day as well as the head unit turning off and on when there was a big bass hit. Now the head unit is fine, but i have to keep the gain on the amp higher than usual to get the normal sound out of the woofers (and the amp shorts out when big bass hits). Anyone ever had a problem like this before? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks 
For the record I have 2 15" dual 2ohm l7's, zx2500.1, 0 guage wire all the way, yellow top and 160 amp alt. (Big 3 with 0 gauge as well).
