I know that shifting cultivation is a method used by local tribes in the rainforest. But that's all I really know. Could you please just give me a brief but detailed answer please. Thank You

shifting agriculture involves clearing a patch of land and and cultivating till the soil looses fertility the they move to another part of land this is done through slash and burn method that is trees are cut down and large areas of forests are burnt
this process may destruct the ecosystem and leads to loss of habitat you will get a lot of information in internet
