its a hifonics brutus bxi 1208d i know its not cea 2006 compliant but some huge brands arent either. like arc audio zapco ect ect.

They are ok amps... i own the 1206D which is the 06 model...
They are cheaply made in china and are not really quality amplifiers... if you do not set the gain correctly the amp WILL blow pretty quickly... They DO put out the power they say they do though as my 1206 at 4 OHMS puts out just over 500 watts RMS... rated at 450... Personally i would stick american on amplifiers and i will NEVER get another hifonics... ive blown 2 of their amps and their warranty department is NO fun...
 
That depends on what ur running off of the amp....What kind and how many subs are u running??? Never personally owned one but ur pretty much maxed at 1200w at one ohm. 2 ohm 900w....Personally i probably would not get it since..i have a 2000w @ 2ohm amp which is what i have my 4 10's wired at.
