well from what ive seen a folded horn box with 2 10"s is the way to go for abso best bass sq and eff.. a sealed box is second. if you are really new to car audio you need to buddy up with someone who knows and actually has a good system. be prepared for many failures in the chase for a good system...if you want an answer right now id say one 4 ohm dual voice coil 12" in a sealed truck box on a mono amp for a 2 ohm load firing at the cars rear for bass corner loading.
also a lot of dynamat or other deadener, a jvc cd head unit and a memphis,kicker,big chrystal pyramid amp or big pioneer amp. toss in a line driver and an adj crossover and good front full range whizzer cones with damped baffles along with door dynamat and floor dynamat and you're set.
