Can my head unit power tweeters?

I have a Pioneer DEH-P4000UB head unit, and I want to add tweeters to my system without the mid-range woofers. So I'm wondering if I buy the Pioneer TST-110 tweeters, which have a built in crossover, can i just simply connect these to my rear-speaker cables coming out of the head unit that are not being used?
 
Sounds pretty good except I would run them from the front speakers due to the fact (especially in cars) the cd players are split into different freq. They are designed to use front speakers for mids and highs and rear speakers for the bass. You will get your highs from the rear but they won't scream as they would up front.
