Can Kicker CVR 12 Handle 600 RMS? I know they are only 400 RMS, but I heard they are...

well , it depends on how well the enclosure is made . it must meet the specs set by the speaker manufacturer. also the signal from the head unit must be clear .. no hum static, or other electronic noises. they often blow speakers and more common cause more than to much power. also never turn the head unit up more than about half way .. after that point most have distortion that can damage speakers at high volumes. being it is a ported enclosure it must be tuned to match the subs . also the amp must have enough amperage supplied to it . amps also make distortion when run underpowered .. so they can also blow a speaker. so it is possible .. but you would do so at own risk.

They can handle it. It might wear on them more than normal use, but yeah. You can also adjust your settings to compensate depending on what else you're running, setup, etc... Believe it or not, I found the guys at my local Best Buy to be pretty damn knowledgable in the feild and very helpful. Talk to them.

You will be fine. If you use a lower wattage amp and crank your volume, that will mess up you woofer, but, higer wattage should be fine.
