...amp or no? Back in the day, when I was into all this car stuff, I used to slice a bit of the blue wire on my radios harness and then wrap the remote wire from my amp around it.
BOY HOW TIMES HAVE CHANGED!!! I just got a new Sony car stereo and it has to spot on the radio itself and on the harness for a REMOTE. There is a little blue hole in the back of the radio to plug something in, 1, and 2, there is the wire coming outta my radios harness. Can I use the remote wire or do I just do it the old fashioned way? I have never seen this type of input for a remote, the plug type, worth looking into? I don't want to fry anything!!!
