Can I transfer photos off Kyocera S2100 to laptop using USB?

The USB is also the power cord input and the manual doesn't mention being able to use it for data transfer.

Web pages that sell a cord mention needing a 3rd-party driver. Web pages for such drivers don't give me much confidence.

I sent an e-mail question to Kyocera last week but haven't gotten a response, aside from an immediate form letter that said I'd get a response within 24 hours.

If I can't do it with USB it means I have to spend 25 cents for each photo to send it by e-mail.
I have to obtain a cord to do this. I'll be seeing my nephew next week and I think I'll be able to borrow his cord to test it out before buying my own cord. I just have to worry about the chance of burning out the phone by plugging something in that wasn't supposed to be plugged into it.

That phone looks new enogh to work. just plug it straight into the computer and see what happens

then go to settings and see what there is as far as connections

as for the additional details, USB runs at a MUCH lower voltage than a standard wall outlet, there's no chance the thing will "burn out"

Have the same problem. Kyocera says that we need a USB driver BUT they haven't created one for
the S2100 yet, so only can transfer photos via email, or download a different driver which may
or may not be compatible with the S2100,
