here are the specs 2 x 250W rms at 4 ohms
2 x 800W max at 4 ohms
1 x 900W max at 4 ohms bridged
2 x 400W rms at 2 ohms

the model is plad-214
i dont have enough money to get a 750.1 so is there any other amp i could get that would be able to power it under $200
alright alright maybe i will save up a little more sell my sh*tty system buy a good amp it may take longer but it will sound better

I think all L7 subs are dual voice coil, but its not a good match. Plus, why in the WORLD would you power a nice kicker sub with a totally garbage Amp? Peak/Max power ratings mean nothing.

RMS power is what you need to look at. And then remember that crap flea market brands like pyle use fake power numbers. So your "1600 watt amp" is like 500 watts all together.

Either way, its not an ideal match. You want to be looking at a 2 ohm MONO stable sub amp. And not a pyle, not a power acoustik, or any other flea market brand. You can run this one, but you would have to wire it in series at 8 ohms, and im sure it would only be getting ~250 watts.

JOHN! You have to trust me, when it comes to car audio, you "get what you pay for"!!! These junk amps break/blow easily, and it will cost MORE to replace them! Trust me! Im not saying you have to get a kicker, I just think the ones on ebay have a great bang for the buck.

You can get a kicker zx500.1 too. Or an older 650.1
