During pregnancy the mother was in Bangladesh and became malnourished and generally unwell before returning to Australia to have the child. He is 7 years of age is sociable and has a lovely smile. He watches TV and seems to enjoy listening to music and likes to switch appliances on and off.
He was tested for autism,hearing and had speech therapy all with negative results. He never points at anything yet when pictures of a nappy,peanut paste, bed, or other such everyday items are placed on a board he will retrieve them to show what he wants. He has 3 siblings who are all home schooled by their single mother parent and only he attends a special school. He has learned to swim and can take simple instructions from his teachers. He is seeing a pediatrician and has had MRI examinations but to no avail. He has had one DNA test and another is awaiting result.Can someone suggest where to go next.
