My cousin has scoliosis and has recently started having trouble taking deep breaths (her rib cage is not the right shape and now shrinking with age) Other people with scoliosis have said they have a similar problem and my cousin wanted to have her lung capacity checked on their advice. The GP says there is no need because she recently had an xray and she could see her lung capacity was normal.
Can a doctor see lung capacity on an xray?
