I found one for sale and I really want it but I haven't even taken the Basic Riders Course yet (I will take it in 2 weeks). I'm a 5'5, 115lb, 25yo female....in case that matters.

A ZL1000 has 110 hp. It weighs 600 lbs, or 715 lbs with you aboard. Check it out!

It was a nice bike in its day, but it's not for a beginner. I can understand why you'd want one, but you want to work up to it. It would be like learning to drive in an 18 wheeler.

Also, at 5'5" you might be what we call 'inseam challenged'. You want to be able to sit on a bike and put both feet flat on the ground. I think this might eliminate a lot of bikes for you. I do know ladies your size who ride, so I know it's not impossible.

The zl1000 is a cruiser, and they have low seats, so maybe another cruiser would be right for you. I would suggest nothing bigger than 750cc to start with.
