Call of Duty on Wii> **video**

Yeah it is gay that there is no Multiplayer. But the controls for ANY FPS on a console suck ass. Not accurate, a pain in the ass to try and aim accuratly very quickly. Of course there are the hardcores out there that can master those controls, but I am not willing to dedicate myself to something that has no flow to it.

The Wii's controls are like using a mouse and keyboard which is > any controller

nobody i know owns a wii. i hope someone gets one so i can see if i'll get sick of the controller after playing it a few times. it looks like it would be pretty cool for a few hours but get old after that. i think i'd start out using the controls like your supposed to, but be using the wrist flick in no time. when you're doing that there's no point using the controller any more, and then i'd rather have the better graphics
 
Ok, you can sit in your corner and player the wii version all by your self.

I'll have my friends come over, and have all 4 of us go online and play together on a team.
 
my cousin has it, and i played it the day he got it. i liked wii sports.. tennis would have kicked ass if we had 4 wiimotes too bad there's really not much involved to play wii sports except flicking your wrists.

he also picked up twilight princess, which seemed to me a bit more annoying to play with the wiimote at times. maybe it's just me

trauma was pretty fun. it pretty much tested your dexterity with the wiimote in one big giant minigame.

i had real high hopes for the wii, but right now i'm already tired of it. i'm going to wait a few more months and see what else nintendo has in store before i even consider buying one for myself.
 
negative, cause its troof. i can often times have more fun playing shitty looking old games than i have playing alot of the new ones with amazing graphics, and MANY other gamers can relate to that. so there.
 
The thing is, Zelda has already beaten GoW with all the reviews its been having. Its been rated better than GoW and its a launch title lol
 
Look dick head, I'm talking from a control stand point. The 360 version has more to it, multiplayer, better graphics. But the Wii has brought a mouse type of movement to a console which can't be beat by 2 analog sticks period. 360s are great, I'm not trying to say the Wii>* so go fuck yourself
 
I don't know what the hell you are talking about. I'm glad I bought a Wii. CoD3 is an amazing game with the remote.

What I don't understand is all the people that seem to be offended that everyone is enjoying this system so much. Grow the fuck up guys, if you don't like the Wii then stop hanging out constantly in the threads.

The 360 is a good machine, with a good library of games. It didn't start out like that. Just like any console it takes time to build a library. I'm not a huge console fan because I use my PC for games, but now I have found a console that lets me have the control I enjoy from a PC. And yet this some how angers you guys... wtf is with that?

You stated earler in this thread someone was wrong for saying the 360 version is better, and now you're saying you just meant by the control stand point.

Make up your fucking mind, and don't use the arguement that a game is better because of wii's controller.
 
is it really that short? my wife keeps asking what games I want when she gets me the Wii for xmas and this vid almost convinced me to add this (I don't usually like FPS), but if it can be beat in a day or two then I'll pass
 
This is the first real good FPS shooter for the Wii. When another FPS comes out for the Wii using the same controls but has multi player then what? xbox 360 wont have anything on it besides graphics.
 
Well here is the thing, to me it seemed like I beat it in 3 hours, but it was probably more 12-15. This system makes me lose all track of time, which doesn't happen really with my PC.

I'm gunna go back and play it on the hardest setting now. It is definatly worth playing though. Even if it is only just as a rental.
 
BARELY beat it, as in many cases they tied with a 9.5. they're also games from two different genres, so it's not really fair to compare them. plus you're talking about a game franchise (zelda) that has been immensely popular since it's conception, whereas GOW is something new. so in a sense this zelda has been a game in the making for over a decade, where GOW was just a couple years.

don't get me wrong, zelda looks pretty badass, but one great game doesn't justify getting a new console for me if i get one i'll wait to see what other nintendo exclusive games come out before i think of buying one, as well as if i'll tire of the wiimote quickly or not.
