I am loathe to admit it, but I think that episode of The Simpsons was actually good. Not laugh out loud funny, but it was better than last week's episode (which I didn't see, but I heard wasn't that good). And I only watched it because it had Maya Rudolph as Julia and you know how much I love "Saturday Night Live" (another long running American TV show that most critics say has declined in quality--coincidence? The only difference is that SNL isn't a sitcom and, IMO, Lorne Michaels cares enough about the show to at least make an attempt at reviving it)
And if anyone cares, the couch gag was the same one from last season's "Homerazzi" (the Homer goes through human evolution sequence), only Marge's "What took you so long?" was redubbed with "Did you bring the milk?"
