About the only thing I laughed at was Burns's comment about the flight attendant in the plane: "Just so you know, she'll do ANYTHING. Anything except sex. And I mean, ANYTHING."
The episode felt incoherent. I didn't feel the transition from Homer in Chicago to wanting a job that could get him on a plane to be a natural one, nor was the transition from Homer hiding out in the restaurant to deciding to tell Marge he didn't get the job while on a plane and then having to land it because the pilot just happened to pass out from heroin overdose.
And I'm sorry to say, but Stephen Colbert's guest spot was pretty wasted. He's hilarious on Colbert Report and Harvey Birdman but the script didn't give him much to work with.
