I had a new socket installed for the new digital aerial we had installed on our building this morning. I connected it up as I had previously (1 socket for the TV and one for the radio). It worked fine so I signed off on the job. However after watching TV for a bit (and using the stereo, which was unplugged at the time) I've noticed a buzzing sound (most likely some kind of interference, possibly the signal is too strong).
I've read about Attenuators and the like but just wondered if there was a simple fix. Its similar to the sound Record players make when they're not grounded.
BTW I'll be calling the installation engineers to get the problem rectified if I can't fix it myself and for the time being I can continue to use the old aerial.
Cheers
