I want to buy a laptop with a budget of £700.00, it needs to have 4gb of ram, more than 400gb of hd space, a HDMI port, wireless connectivity, built in webcam, needs to light weight, and it needs to have a very fast processor.

i am a software student so I would have software programs, languages installed, as well as listening to music, watching videos, and surfing the internet.

I wont be playing any games on it

it can a little over the budget like £50.00

Any Suggestions

another question i have is that i dont want to go and but a laptop now, for a new one to come out very soon, do you know when companies in general bring out new products.

Thanks

about 2 -3 months after october 22 when windows 7 comes out.

I figure Nvidia is going to push something insane out, Intel is going to thrown something nice out and amd is going to release the first 5XXX cards for games.

right now I really dont see anything that would really affect your needs so you will be safe buying a laptop right now.

its only going to be game computers and.. experimental stuff no serious person needs.. your fine, 100% green light for you.

say you want a computer before october 22nd, make sure you can upgrade for free or else its going to be 50$ if you want windows 7 or whatever its called..

My best advice is to go for a DUAL core Intel, or AMD for regular large home PC.

Laptop..
Macbook air would suit you.
the dell 1330 would suit you
I think it was the MSI 340 forget exact name and number would suit you

Make sure you stick to the Intel P series CPU's because their the same thing as T except P eats 25watts and T eats 35 watts delivering same computing power... BUT T models are cheaper.

the rest, im sure you have the heads up on the rest.

Looks like you need a gaming computer but usually if you want a computer with excellent preformance you need to have a bigger budget. Check for dell they have excellent service.

I would look at the Asus G51 Series notebooks.. They fit in your budget, and are simply amazing.

The base is the..

Asus G51VX-X1A
Asus G51VX-RXO5
Asus G51VX-A1 (the best of the 3)..

The max price is $1600 (USD).

Well brands that would probably be good for you are HP or Dell. They make good reliable laptops.

Things your are going want to get for your laptop are a Dual Core processor at least 2.0 GHz (probably want more) and you will need to get one with a graphics card that has an HDMI port.

I don't know what the price would be exactly but should be around the range your looking for.
