british/american culture poll?

i'm American, and it seems like we love English culture. but i'm wondering, do British people like American culture? like for example, we really like your accents, music, clothes etc. but do you like ours? what are some things you like and don't like about American culture (NOT the politics because that's annoying).
 
I quite like American culture, because it's so varied. The media usually just presents us with these really stereotypical images and makes it seem like America is all about stupidity, gang violence, consumerism and so on. But the positive and interesting aspects about the culture are likable.
 
What are you saying ? Neither England nor USA has a culture. More so they are thieves of culture. There were 60,000,000 Hopi Indians in america when Columbus arrived and these were reduced to just 800,000 through slaughter rape pillage and murder. The scourge of colonisation and slavery. As well as ecological savagery.
The English have an enormous history of barbaric abuse visited upon so many countries and their peoples.

What you are seeing today is the start of the karma !!

Wake up and educate yourself in some realities woman.
 
I like the way Americans are ambitious and want to be the best at whatever they try. The world could take note from that. There's nothing wrong with wanting to be bigger and better.
A lot of American TV comedies are really funny, but some of them are terrible.
I'm really into some American fashion. Stussy rules my wardrobe.
American hip hop is great and plays a very considerable part in my music collection.
I could eat McDonalds, Burger King, KFC and hotdogs all day, every day. But it would be very bad for me.
Girls with American accents are great, especially ones from New York (they sound very sexy).
I like the fact that Americans will usually always back us up in this mad world that we live in. It's like having a younger, tougher brother by our side (if that makes sense).
Americans are amongst the friendliest people around. What you see is what you get.
New York and LA are in my top ten cities in the world.

The bad points that exist in America are pretty much the same over here. The social divide, arrogance and ignorance to the rest of the world. We're just as guilty of it here as you are. Overall, we're not really that much different from you lot.

Well, i personally love the american culture and im british.
I don't know much about politics so i dont have much to say on that.

I really want to go to america.
I just love it, the big cities, the food :P
The programmes aired over here.
The american celebs.
Accents definatly.

So yeah, i like the american culture.
 
American culture - there's an oxymoron for you! [1]

I like about half of the American films and TV that we get over here.

Country music really grates.

However, I recently watched a pretty poor film, Sideways [2] - it wasn't a nice image, but it left me feeling that there might be some culture over there. Curious.

Politics is globally annoying, and will remain so until a workable system of instant accountability is used.
 
First do not equate British culture with English culture, this upsets the Welsh Irish and Scots, otherwise you are ok apart from your refusal to take politics seriously.
 
All the fakes love "american" culture,

for example, blonde hair fake tans, big cars, Paris Hilton acting like sluts.

However i get the feeling they only copy the bad parts of american culture not the good parts!
obviously all americans dont drive big cars and have blonde hair lol
