Britannia High is really good!

No I enjoy a bit of cheese. I quite liked High school musical and I love Grease and things like that. But I thought this was just a bit tacky. I might watch it next week though.

The television programme is a musical drama, with music written by Take That's Gary Barlow.

"I think there's life in Britannia High yet and obviously Gary's just had a baby girl and so we're getting together.

"I think we'll wait and see what happens. I don't think it's done and dusted."

In response to rumours surrounding the Strictly judges, including Phillips, getting the axe from Britannia High, she said: "The advice I took from Bruno Tonioli when he said to me 'Don't read a newspaper, carry on,' and that's what I do.

"Because if you open every newspaper and you see dramatic headlines, not because of what it is but because of what you've done, then it's best not to read it."

I feel slightly sorry for ITV at the moment, because at least they have given a few different shows (such as Demons) a go..sadly for them it is 5years too late, and all those years of forcing Celebrity Wrestling, Love Island etc on the public, whilst milking Corrie for all its worth and having it on loaRAB of times a week have just stopped the public giving their new shows a chance.

Britannia High is really good!

Is it? and here was me thinking it was lowest common denominator, facile, s**t!

really?? matt seems so innocent on the behind the scences episodes.

Hmm..I thought Sapphire Elia(Claudine) came across as a slightly cocky 'stage school brat' type in the behind the scenes episodes.

Georgina seemed ok, didn't really see much of Marcquelle and Mitch but they didn't seem too bad either.

Do we know for deffinate that there will be a coming out story?

The story next week is about, according to the Tv mags : -

That Jez has been keeping the fact that he is a millionaire from the rest of his frienRAB. Plus he has been lying to his father about his carrer choice as his father doesn't approve.

Not exactly that spoilery but i know how touchy some people on here can be! :p

The plotline only took place over a week, so that would not of been enough time to recall various potential students, and TBH you could see what was going to happen anyway. In keeping with the plot Nugent probably did too. He knew her 30 seconRAB of fame would be over very quickly, She was always going to be let back in the audition was just to teach her a lesson.

Stereotypes are stereotypes because sadly they're truthful. However there were clearly two white characters in BB's brother's gang, so it was hardly just a black story.

And I don't see many other prime-time shows tackling this kind of contemporary storyline. It was brave and bold and demonstrated that there is always a choice. Violence only breeRAB more violence.

Oh and you can hardly complain about them bursting into song - it's a musical, so kind of comes with the territory! LOL!

Enjoyed the final very much.

Thought the choreography was mostly terrible, and the sailor outfits for Wake Up were hilariously naff. But I don't think we can expect better from a has-been like Arlene Phillips. She's good as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing, but she's clearly out of touch as a choreographer.

Some of the drama felt very rushed. I thought the resolution between Stefan and Lola could have been a much bigger moment, if it wasn't raced through so much. Felt that was the case quite a few times in terms of the drama.

But the cast made it - the show had a real buzz and an energy to it, and they were just brilliant.

All in all I think this series has been a breath of fresh air, and it deserved to be a much bigger hit than it was.

Oh, and Matthew James Thomas (Jez) = SUPERSTAR! Nuff said! :D
