Ok so I bought this bike non running in hopes of a project bike. It is a vintage 1981 Kawasaki kz750 ltd. So far I have rebuilt the carbs, Cleaned out the tank, cleaned the petcock, Replaced fuel Lines. The bike is running and sounding amazing. But here is a list of things I need advice on;
The second cylinder is smoking at the exhaust flange on the head. All the others seem fine. Ideas?
Next there seems to be a slight electrical problem. When I turn the key, Or the bike is running the right turn signal remains on no matter what I do. When running low headlight comes on, high beam works fine. Brake lights work fine, But turns are not working properly………..?
The only other thing I can think of at the time is that the gas line from tank to carbs where it meets in the center of the “Fuel rail” (not sure what it is referred to as) Is leaking all over my engine. I’m looking for ideas to stop the leak.
