What show is people's favourite, I would actually put Bottom top for the episode Culture alone, followed by Filthy..then Young Ones bringing up the rear(Rik would make a great joke out of that):D

1. The Young Ones
2. Bottom
3. Filthy, Rich and Catflap

Quite simply without The Young Ones, there wouldn't have been the other two.

So many memorable moments, and quotable lines. And, like all the best comedy shows, it only ran for two series.

Bottom was quite funny to start with, but became very, very repetitive.

I can't remember much about F, R & CF, but I seem to remember being slightly disappointed by it, but it came after the Young ones, so was probably expecting a very simialr show.

I love the episode "Gas" of the Bottom series. Hilarious. I still love The Young Ones - quite an odd sit com(very surreal sometimes with the talking puppets in it - plus the musical interludes with the banRAB Madness, Motorhead, etc). Been a while since I've seen it though now. I always remember the university challenge episode with Stephen Fry, Emma Thompson, and co. "Bambi, he does the baby cham adverts now!" :D . Plus I remember they did a "The Good Life" spoof! Paul Merton appeared in one of them as a peasant(he used his real name Paul Martin at the time).

I haven't seen any of Filthy, Rich and Catflap.

Toxteth O'Grady, Usa.

Incidentally, I've just done an image search for Mr Toxteth, an the fourth picture is Dr Alice Roberts??

Bottom. Then The Young Ones.

But then I have a weird crush on Rik & Ade. A signed photo pinned up in my kitchen :D

Saw an old Blackadder Goes Forth last night where Rik & Ade both guested. Swooooooon!!!

I would plump for Bottom as it was my era. I've watched the other two after Bottom and The Young One's would be my second fave. In more ways it was the more rounded sitcom but as I say, I grew up with Bottom :)

I loved all of them, they're all great in their own ways. I've got all the episodes of F, R and C on a videotape somewhere. Probably worn out by now, though. They really ought to repeat it (and Happy Families, although that wasn't as good.)

Bottom had some inspired moments. The one where they're stuck on top of a Ferris wheel is just brilliant.

And thinking about the young Ones...I'm just having a little chuckle to myself thinking about Rik shouting "I AM NOT A VIRGIN!!"

The Young ones. It started it all. As a kid back then, it finally felt like it was a show for us. A bit like 'Nozin' Aroun'', it was made by young adults, for young adults and concentrating on all the subjects that young adults are interested in.
