Borat

Oh My God!Just saw it and absolutely loved it! I never used to watch the ali-g show as I was probly too young to appreciate it but since all the hype about the movie Ive been watching clips on youtube to find out what I was missing.

So when I finally got around to seeing the movie I thought there wouldn't be many surprises. Also I wasn't sure about the idea of a storyline I prefer just the reality bits with real people rather than creating a plot line. But I was wrong, for me I thought the scripted bits were excellent. He made a great double act with the fat guy! Needless to say all the bits were he's fooling real people were hilarious, how does he get away with it!

When people ask me to pick out my favourite parts I just can't because there were so many! I literally can't stop raving about it. Most fun Ive had at the cinema for ages because the whole audience were laughing so much too. I think I will see it again at some point.

Anyway I think Sacha Baron Cohen is amazing and roll on the Bruno movie, not sure how he will pull it off but I can't wait!

I laughed at this movie many times, but I felt in order for it to provide a narrative it stretched itself a little too thin.I think it works much better as TV show. It was quite something to actually be in a theatre of of people laughing hysterically ever 10 minutes or so.

I saw it last night and that line got a groan too - but at points people were clapping.

Best laugh I've had in a while...I imagine it wont be to everyone's taste but really funny.

LOL it was hilarious - saw it last night..
The naked wrestling scene made me have tears in my eyes.. Also the Vanilla face comment..

Was discturbing though seeing that Jesus lovers scene...

OMG! I went to see this yesterday and i can safely say i have never ever laughed so much at a film before in my whole life! I loved the bit where he got Pamela Anderson in the 'Marriage Bag' and started chasing her through the parking lot and then shouted 'I no loving you anymore...NOT!'

For those of you that are very anti-racist id advise you not to see it...as in one case he was going to see a black man and said 'Later that day i went to see a real chocolate face...not even any make-up'. My friend just went 'Omg...that is bad' and shook her head, but everyone in the cinema was in stitches.

All in all 10/10 we worth the money to go and see it...i'll be buying it when it comes out on DVD!

Does anyone know who much it has made so far? In Britain and America.

CoolboyA:D

Haha, this film is hilarious. The funniest film I've seen in ages. EXCEPT for one scene which totally crossed the link, and still makes me feel quite nautious. (:o ) I really didn't need to see that.

It was quite chilling in places too, like the scene at the Rodeo for instance.

The 'chocolate face' bit was just demonstrative of how culturally inept Borat is, I was just thankful that he was openly racist towarRAB black people.

What I did like about the film was that despite all the racist remarks, the film actually put across a sympathetic portrayal of the black and Jewish people who made an appearance in the film.

Saw it yesterday, there are so many set pieces that work, my favourite was the dinner party, ouch!

do you think that Pamela Anderson was in on the joke when Borat put the sack of love over her? She certainly looked genuinely bemused and she's not THAT good an actor. Otherwise surely she would never have allowed the film to be released.

I was wondering about that as well. I was so shocked by it but I sat through the closing credits and I caught a glimpse of "Kidnap co-ordinator" so I would imagine that bit was staged.

What I found most sick though was the wrestle with his producer in the hotel.

Saw that film a couple days ago. It was histerically funny from beginning to end. Best film Ive seen all year favourite part would probly be the "NOT Jokes"
