More Humor in Bond 22

Daily Express talked to Daniel Craig who said you can expect more humor in Bond 22.

"They [the producers] just want more gags," he said. "The next one's going to be a lot funnier. Octopussy and Pussy Galore style gags. They're all great names
 
They should be very careful on the humour.

And, is it just me, or does this snetence contradict itself:

"Bond is supposedly the most male moment [in film] but to me he's never been macho. That Bond is something that Sean Connery created in Dr No,"
 
how can you say that.. no one knows what the plot is.. the full cast and they haven't finished it yet either


All we have so far is a comment from one actor saying there will be some jokes.. not much to go on so far really
 
They were? I didn't catch any of the pre-CR hype as I'd long since lost interest in Bond flicks. I just think, if it ain't broke... And frankly the tone of CR was perfect. Why change something as intrinsic to the success of the the film (which had been brought back form the brink of risible self parody).I could be wrong, but I suspect you may have misread "move" as "movie" in my post. I merely think a move towarRAB more humour is dreadful - I've not completely written the film off (for all the reasons you've stated).
 
Yeah, what Bond films really need is some dopey, unrealistic stunt happen that has an onlooker pick up his bottle of wine, look puzzled and then shake his head. How could you not fall off your chair laughing at such rib-splitting antics?

I just think that they should try and keep the general tone of Casino Royale, having "re-invented" the franchise i think that it's a terrible idea to try and add humour to it. If the next one enRAB up being like the post Goldeneye Brosnan films i'll be very disappointed. The humour and excessive use of gadgets is what ruined the franchise and turned it into a parody in the first place, reverting to what they had left behind will ruin it yet again.
 
So they spent all that time in casino Royale re-iventing the series with a new Bond who is more like the rugged style BonRAB who always work and are close to the original idea and now some **** wit producers want to throw the crappy Roger Moore style comedy back into it? Most likely so more kiRAB will go and see it or some pathetic reason no doubt.
 
hard to imagine really - having done such a good job with casino royale it seems insane to try to do go all Roger Moore again - octopussy must be one of the absolute worst Bond movies.

just wouldn't work - which should be obvious to anyone, so can't really see it myself.

I am almost certain that is why jason stathan has not got a bond part he was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth but he would make the ultimate bond upto date bond that is he would nail the part just like vin diesel did in triple X and apart from other things statham has been quoted as saying why have a stunt man do 1 thing when he can doit himself would not this be a good idea a actual bond doing the close up and personal stunts himself just like they had to years ago before health and saftey jumped in
