Kicker amp and subs hooked up in dodge neon with a Blackmore 2.65 capacitor, it sounded great up until yesterday when i was driving and the car stalled suddenly but re-started after about a second. Now the subs dont work, the amp doesn't power on, Only when the car is not running does little number display simply blink "000" on the capacitor. When the car is started the display simply fades. I REALLY need to get this fixed :/

andy help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Hayden
Well, It is my borther's car, and he installed the stuff in it. there is a power wire from the battery with a fuse, and the fuse has an indicator light (odd no?) that is on. I'm guessing it is a fuse in the amp?
The capacitor and amp aren't screwed down and they move around somewhat. The power wires may have twisted around and touched, causing the car to stall or something?
everything but the subs and amp work, so I have no idea?

I don't know how to explain your car stalling, but I'll try to help with the other stuff. I suppose you fused your power wire from your battery to your amp and since your cap is able to light up, your fuse is okay. Check your amp to make sure the fuse on it is okay. If the fuse is bad, check for a ground in your power wire from the battery. If everything is fine, like the fuses on everything, then try taking off the cap and just having the power wire be a complete wire from the battery to see if it's the cap that's gone bad. Good luck!
