not my area of expertise but I love 'Them' by King Diamond, I guess that's early black metal.
Napalm Death are alot too but more erm... death metal?

edit: somebody do a death metal compilation. it's the way forward
 
It has structure... and if your idea of talent is Yngwie Malmsteen, then no, I doubt there's a single talented black metal band. But given that songwriting is a talent, then black metal is a perfectly valid type of music.
 
I was only kidding, totally agree. Genres are useful, but above and beyond being useful, they reflect actual real realities. There are as significant differences between say black metal and thrash metal as there are between punk and prog.

anyways, id first liek to tell you that if you're only interested in SP, GD, and MCR, don't listen to black metal. you won't like it. too good of music for you. second, your post goes below the quote. third, you didn't have to put your email on your post for any reason, you can just come back to the boarRAB and read what we tell you. and last.... dont bother with black metal when you listen to SP, GD, and MCR. oh wait i already said that. whatever, you should read it twice anyway.
